HAPPY END – ROSKILDE
Dance, aesthetics and narratives of the aging body
Together with the residents of two nursing homes in Roskilde, we examine the dance, aesthetics and narratives of the old body. We welcome you in to an honest and life-affirming dance performance about life under an ageing skin.
The elderly are one of the fastest growing groups of our population. Simultaneously, we constant thrive for eternal youth while trying to hide the traces of ageing.
With poetic realism, Happy End removes the boundaries between orchestration and reality and instead seeks the presence of age and the narratives of the old body.
